Confessions of a 3rd time momma

When my son was a baby, I was so careful with everything. Changed his diaper the second he peed. Sterilized everything. Washed all the new clothes before he would wear them. If a binky feel on the floor, he didn't get it back until I could wash it off. Gave him a bath almost everynight. I would read stories and rock him to bed. He slept in his own bed/crib most of the time when he was a baby. I coslept with him when he was a toddler.

Then comes baby number two, I was more relaxed. Binky fell on the ground, I sucked it clean. Didn't wash all the new clothes, baby detergent wasn't really neccessary, was it? I didn't have time or energy to sterilize everything. Gave her a bath every other night, usually. I coslept with her from day one. When she was a toddler, she fought sleep constantly so she would watch TV and fall asleep watching Dora.

Third baby, Binky fell on the ground, I might suck it clean or just let her put in right back in her mouth. Maybe germs are good for them? New clothes, prewashed? Nope, hand me downs, maybe washed if I had time. I gave her a bath when her sister was getting a bath or shower, usually every other night. We coslept from day one. I breastfed her until she was two years old. She would fall asleep breastfeeding every night, we never even had a crib for her.
